I’m running 127 miles to support people affected by dementia

Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia.

Families affected are often left feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn…

My Mum

My mum, Linda, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease six years ago. Since then, I've witnessed the impact this terrible disease can have on an individual and their family.

That’s why I want to make a difference…

What I want to achieve…

I’m raising money for Dementia UK, a nursing charity supporting families affected by dementia.

No one should face dementia alone, which is why the care provided by Admiral Nurses is absolutely vital.

I will be fundraising for Dementia UK so that more families can access their life-changing support and live as well as possible, for as long as possible.

I’ll be running from Leeds to Liverpool via the canal.

127 miles in total, the route will take me from Leeds, across Northern England, through the Pennines, all the way to Liverpool, running for more than twenty-four hours.
